How this Course is Set Up

Introduction

The first section of the course is an introduction: Why this course, the goals of the course, and what it covers.

The main sections of this course focus on each area of our Holistic Well-Being. These include:

  1. Mental-Emotional Well-Being
  2. Relational Well-Being
  3. Spiritual Well-Being


Each Well-Being section is broken down into the following lessons:

  1. What that area of well-being is.
    1. The definition
    2. What it includes
    3. Why it is important
    4. What is looks like to have a high level of well-being in that area

  2. In-depth reflection questions on that area of well-being.
    1. These questions help you identify where you are at with that area of well-being, and where you have room for growth
    2. Each of these Reflection sections has a downloadable pdf of the questions that you get to keep!

  3. Practices to cultivate that area of your well-being.
    1. There is an initial lesson listing the practices with a downloadable pdf of in-depth information on each practice.
    2. Then there are lessons that start with ">>" that cover each of the practices for that area of well-being.

  4. A brief concluding lesson to get you thinking about where you have room for growth in that area of your well-being.


After the above, there is a Creating Lasting Change section:

The purpose of this concluding section is to help you set effective goals related to your well-being. The reason you likely signed up for this course was to improve your well-being. Doing so takes practice; it takes intentionally working toward something. This last section brings in research on growth and change to set you up for success.
